Record Your Vidscrips
Step 1:
When you tap Record Vidscrips you will be taken to the My Journeys page. Each Journey contains a series of prompts. You will answer each prompt with its own video that you will record with your device.
Note: You can use keywords to search the Journeys list to find ones that will be
helpful for your practice.
Step 2:
When you find a Journey you want to record, just tap on it. Tapping on a Journey will take you to the list of Prompts.
Note: If a prompt has an open circle next to it, that means it hasn’t been answered.
If it has a green checkmark next to it, that means it has been answered.
Step 3:
Prepare your answers. To start recording your answer to a prompt just tap on it. When you tap on a prompt it will bring up the recording screen.
Step 4:
Tap Start Recording to start, and Stop Recording to stop. You can review your video when you’re done, and then tap Upload. Once your video is uploaded the app will automatically take you to the next prompt.
Step 5:
Good on ya! You have successfully recorded your answers to the prompt.
Note: As you work on Journeys their status will change, from New, to In Process, to Complete.
Make Your Videos Great
Now all you have to do is record yourself answering the question on the screen. Here are some helpful hints for making great videos:
Face a light source. Natural light is best.
Hold the camera above your eye level. Use a tripod if you have one.
Find a clear, clean background. A solid colored wall is best.
Maintain eye contact with the camera lens while you’re speaking.
